If you are not giving, you are not living
— Rochelle Johns

Rochelle Johns is a native of St. Louis, MO., and has been in Arizona for over ten years.  Rochelle serves as a Commissioner on the City of Tempe's Human Relations Commission where she and her fellow Commissioners advise the Mayor and City Council and assist City departments in promoting mutual understanding and respect among the many groups of people who live, work and spend time in our community.   She is a certified Life Coach, a Notary Public for the state of Arizona, an aspiring writer and currently is working on her Masters degree in Professional Counseling.

Community Service is her heartbeat . She believes, “If you are not giving, you are not living. As a leader, I have learned that if you stop learning, you stop growing. Leaders produce other leaders, be a product of growth, and your tribe will follow, support, and love you."

Rochelle resides in Tempe with her significant other Chef Reggie. She has four adult children, four beautiful grandchildren, and is the oldest of three siblings. She enjoys travel, reading, exercising in the gym, bike riding, and roller skating. She also has an eye for a good hand bag!

Rochelle is living her life fully and "living her life like it's golden".
